TIGA was built after years of watching brilliant deep tech ventures struggle for reasons that had little to do with the science. Across Israel’s innovation ecosystem — From the periphery to leading research institutions—We saw that world class innovation can come from anywhere.
6 years ago, our founding team backed a startup from Israel’s periphery, far outside the orbit of the Tel Aviv ecosystem. It went on to raise successful follow on funding, sell thousands of products, and scale globally. That experience reinforced our conviction—But it also sharpened what we kept seeing everywhere else: The same pre-seed trap repeating itself.
Exceptional technologies left the lab with real promise, only to lose momentum because the commercial foundation wasn’t built early enough.
Too often, teams delay market validation and commercial groundwork until later—while scientific founders are forced to split their time between research and company-building, and fundraising is treated as something to start after the fact. The result is predictable: lost time, wasted capital, and breakthrough science that never gets the chance to become a real company. That is why we built TIGA.
TIGA is a venture builder: We partner with TTOs, scientists, and inventors at the whiteboard stage, acting as the commercial co-founder from zero to one. We help shape the strategy, validate product-market fit, build the operational engine, and develop the investor pipeline from day one—so early capital is used to create real momentum, not just buy more time (So breakthrough science has a chance to become an enduring company).
